Cooperstown Bass Guides is a "father and son" business. Allan and Peter Green live in Cooperstown and have been fishing Otsego Lake for nine years. They fish tournaments on Otsego Lake and other area lakes regularly (and usually do quite well). They were Anglers of the Year in their bass club in 2005, and won the club's Classic tournament the same year.
Allan is a New York State Licensed Guide, and holds a Joint Pilot & Engineer License to operate a Public Vessel. He has been an avid angler for more than 40 years. In his "day job" he is a research scientist at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Peter is presently a full time college student, and helps with "behind the scenes" aspects of the business - maintaining tackle, washing and preparing the boat, etc. He's working on his guide license, and will eventually guide fishing trips during the summer. He has been fishing since he was three years old!
