Smallmouth fishing was excellent all through October and November, but now it's slowing down. Finished the season with a slow day. Not surprising, as the water temp is down to 45 degrees, and the bass are sluggish. Caught a couple of smallmouths on tubes, but that was it. Slow end to an excellent season!

Fishing should be much better in the spring, once the ice is off the lake. This usually happens toward the end of April. May and June offer some of the best fishing of the season.
