Great fishing on Cooperstown's Otsego Lake!

The 2008 fishing season has been excellent so far. As usual, fishing was spectacular in May and very good in June. July has been slow at times, but right now the fishing is excellent, especially for largemouths (see fishing report).

Bass are the most popular game fish in the United States, and Cooperstown’s Otsego Lake is one of the best bass fishing lakes in New York. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn more about one of the fastest growing sports in the country, a bass fishing enthusiast, or you just want to get out on the water, we can offer you a great trip. We fish from a fully rigged Triton TR19 bass boat.

We specialize in largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing with artificial lures. In addition, we offer panfish trips (for perch, bluegills, rock bass) using live bait. This is a great way to introduce kids to fishing, with plenty of action.
