empire toyota anglers of the year, 2014

Congratulations to Bob Luther and Jim Clement, Susquehanna Bass Association Anglers of the Year (sponsored by Empire Toyota), with a total weight of 100.47 pounds (after dropping their two lowest weights)

For the second week in a row, our tournament had to be relocated due to low water, this time from Delta Lake to the Mohawk River at Schoharie Crossing. Fifteeen boats competed. Fishing was tough for many, with only seven boats able to bring in a five-fish limit. Lou Falvo and Dave Hubbard won (yet again!) with a bag weighing 15.01 lb, topped by Dave's 3.45 lb smallmouth, which is now in the lead as biggest smallie of the year.  See Results and Standings for details

Next Tournament

The next tournament will be on Otsego Lake, October 11, launching from the village of Cooperstown, 7 am to 3 pm.

Susquehanna Bass Association

The Susquehanna Bass Association is a bass club based in Oneonta, NY. We have approximately 70 members from across the central New York region. The club was formed in 1987, and fishes regular bass tournaments every week or two from June through the end of October. We fish in two-person teams, usually with a five-fish limit.
