Bass fishing on Otsego Lake

Great fishing on Cooperstown's Otsego Lake!

The 2009 season has been great so far. May and June were outstanding, and the fishing is still very good (see fishing report). July should offer a good mixture of largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing, plus some walleye and a mixture of panfish for the kids (or anyone who wants to catch LOTS of fish). So join us for a great trip, regardless of your level of fishing experience.

Bass are the most popular game fish in the United States, and Cooperstown’s Otsego Lake is one of the best bass fishing lakes in New York. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn more about one of the fastest growing sports in the country, a bass fishing enthusiast, or you just want to get out on the water, we can offer you a great trip. We fish from a fully rigged Triton TR19 bass boat.

We specialize in largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing with artificial lures. In addition, we offer panfish trips (for perch, bluegills, rock bass) using live bait. This is a great way to introduce kids to fishing, with plenty of action.
